What I Learned In Multimedia Design

This year was my junior year at Roselle Park High School. For the the first half of my junior year I took a class called Multimedia Design, taught by Danielle Romero. I learned many things in this class. Before I took this class all of these websites and search engines and blogger websites like this one. I thought it was just adjusting the settings to your likings. It turns out that it takes a while and a lot of work to perfect a new website.

I used programs like, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and Dreamweaver. Illustrator plays a big part in making websites. You need to learn how to make rollover images and then customize them until you get it just right. I didn't know how do any of that. I didn't even know rollover images exsisted. I knew about photoshop I just never knew how to use it. So thank you Ms. Romero for teaching me all of these things.

FLASH: Custom Motion Tween

For this project my class had to make a shape tween and a motion tween. We had to do motion tween more than a shape tween. I just made a red rectangle and turned into a polygon. I made a door so my person looks like he's coming outof it. My motion tween is a person going from one side of the screen, to the other. When the person and shape entered keyframe 20, the door disappears.

Flash Tutorial 2

For this project we had to make a car go from one sideof the screen to the other. I made two layers one car and the other background. The background was blue and that's all I did with that layer. Than for the car layer I made two rectangles and two curved cornered rectangles for wheels. The car is red with yellow tires. I highlighted the car parts and moved it to the other side. Than I created a motion tween, and then I have my car driving from one side to the other.

FLASH Shape Tween

This one had a little bit more steps. I had to add 3 more layers all titled shape 1,2 or 3. The fourth layer was text with my name in it. Basically like my most recent post before this one, I used the shape tween again. Except I used 3 shapes at the same time. They all became different shapes and different colors. They all crossed eachother.

I first started by deleting the layer 1 name on the first layer and changed it to text. The next step I created a new layer and did the same thing as before except made it shape layer. I than inserted a keyframe into frame 25 with the text layer. Than created the same keyframe on the shape layer. I wrote multimedia design for the text layer and colored it yellow. I went to shape text and created a yellow box. Than I went to keyframe 25 in the shape layer. I created a five sided blue hexagon. Than I right clickedon keyframe 1 in the shape layer, I clicked on create shape tween which allowed the rectangle to form into the hexagon. I click enter and the multimedia design text stays in place while the rectangle forms into the hexagon.

Audacity Mixing Project

For my mixing project my subject was fear. The songs I used were Wake Up Dead by Megadeth, and Master Of Puppets by Metallica. I started off with master of puppets opening and tthe second part was a spider chord riff from Megadeth. Than Master Of Puppets again, than another sipder Chord riff. Than I put in a breakdown from Master Of Puppets, than a build-up from Megadeth than a build-up from Master Of Puppets than finally the ending of Wake Up Dead. This whole process took me 6 days and it came out to 3 minutes and 15 seconds.

This is the exact same thing as before. All my post are the same, it's just a rectangle with a new word in it. These two are my project buttons.
